Sadly, we must say good-bye to the Bush Decade; it’s hard to believe that we will ever have the opportunity again to relive in current time the lawlessness of the Wild West and Death Valley Days simultaneously.

People can complain all they want about the huge problems he left us, what with a worldwide economic collapse looming, the looting of the Treasury and the burgeoning of the National Debt to the point that experts are saying we’ll never again experience the prosperity we once enjoyed prior to Bush, and let’s not forget his backsliding on the environment so that the Doomsday Clock for planetary annihilation had to be set only minutes away from midnight — the end of all life and time as we know it.

But when again are we going to experience a Presidency that is capable of engaging the Nation in Time Travel!?

When again are we going to be able to experience the 19th Century and the corporations, lacking an FDA, able to manhandle, murder, and poison the American populace at will, with complete government disinterest? But with Haliburton and Cheney from Wyoming setting the agenda, the Wild West is the time we most got to understand and experience. Justice was determined by might and wealth, just like in the days of old.

So how can we thank this former President with his wizard-like abilities?

“How do you thank someone who has taken you from surplus to near ruin?
It isn’t easy, but I’ll try….

If he wanted the moon, I would vote to send him there…
And I – I – I would even give my art

To George, with rove….”
